STOP with the F**king Cameras already!

Apparently there were alot of new cameras released today because of the PMA'08 camera show. So many so that Engadget (whom I love) and Gizmodo (whom I love) posted about a GAZILLION separate posts. I understand that you want to review all these nifty new cameras for us all but my GReader and I object strongly! I am ALWAYS in the market for a better camera but I can't even think anymore. I know that the last few posts were not only completely blurred in my brain but I may subliminally hate the manufacturers now! Much of this may have been combined into some sort of giant "Click here for more on this model" type affair. I love you guys but this...this just sucked!

THAT is what R/C planes were designed for!

When I was younger I owned a couple R/C cars and my grandfather on my Dad's side owned two huge gas powered R/C planes. In my entire life he took them out to fly ONCE. It used to pain my cousin Jeff and I to no end to see the planes just sitting in the spare bedroom in their house collecting dust. My Grandfathers logic...."Those @!$$%!&* planes are to expensive to be crashing them all over the @!$$%!&* $#$%%*@ place!" (He was after all a truck driver)
So today when I got this post in my GReader from the guys over at Gizmodo I thought to myself YES! THAT is what R/C planes were designed for...creative deathdefying stuff that you wouldn't want to do with a real plane!

The Power Hour just Got Gadgeted - The Shot Caller

I am definitely getting old. I used to be a party animal. Honestly. I used to play all the drinking games there were to play. Then I became a family guy, started a business and well....I fell out of touch with the party set. Today in my GReader I get this story, from Gizmodo...the gadget guide about this new cool gadget called The Shot Caller which helps you play Power Hour, Century Club, or Sick & Twisted.

Huh?

I had to Google these games to find out what the hell they were! I mean it's bad enough that beer pong came into it's prime after I passed out of mine but now I missed these brilliant games? Oh the humanity! Anyhow....if you're NOT an old fart like me and you want to step up your Power Hour play it seems that The Shot Clock is the way to go...$14.99 shipped...you can have it for X-mas or better yet for New Years Eve. Take your game Pro...with The Shot Caller.

The Ultimate DJ Watch..Wait...shhh...I'm counting

If you are a professional DJ (as are all of the members of the Yamagoo crew) then you have very likely had to count off, in your head, the BPM on an unlabeled track, or new CD. I hate this...not that it's difficult but it's a pain in the ass. I'd rather grab a tune and know Well technology is here to save the day and let you get back to mixing.
-Thanks to Adam Frucci at Gizmodo.com for the heads up on the Ultimate DJ Watch.

Not only does this bad boy sense the BPM on a tune your playing but it packs an led light for finding your schtuff in the dark! Best of all its only $65 bucks! That's right....go on click here and check it out!

Forget the "Easy Button" Meet the "Bullshit" button

I can't even tell you how much Bullshit I hear in a day so I was very excited to see this in the GReader (via Gizmodo..Love the Giz!) The only dowside I can see is that I will need a TON of these so that I can have it on hand when needed. Maybe a Bullshit Watch is what I need? Anyway when you hear some absolute crap just hit the button and it will be called out by one of these phrases
• "(Beep) That was bullshit"
• "(Siren) Bullshit detected, take precautions"
• "Bullshit level defcon 5"
• "Oh come on now, that ain't even bullshit, that's horseshit"
• "Warning, warning, bullshit alert"
Here the link EXACTLY as Gizmodo had it ....

star wars remote A little SW love for DJ Maul

Back from the Easter Weekend hope everyone enjoyed themselves. I have been holding on to this from our friends at Gizmodo for a couple days and thought I get it posted to show some love for DJ Maul.. we miss you Tommy Mac. Where have you gone brother??

This mini R/C R2-D2

is “fully controllable from the included lightsaber remote — authentic
sounds, turning head and red LED eye complete the package.”

No more playing with your old skool Star Wars
figures by shaking them and talking in a funny voice, this is the real
deal… and we don’t kid when it come to Star Wars. We would have killed
for this little R2 gem as a kid and it’s still pretty damn cool as an

adult

Gotta love Sihouette Ads

From Gizmodo our favorite gadget site on the web....

Who could forget the iBuzz, that fun little sex toy that hooks up to an iPod and vibrates in tandem with the music? Hope you already bought yours because it looks like Apple is about to shut them down. Apparently, Apple is taking issue with some of iBuzz's adverts, like the one seen here. I guess Apple isn't too keen about having "its" silhouette campaign hijacked by a bunch of smut peddlers. Or, in legalese...
"Our client owns the copyright in all the images used in its 'Silhouette' advertising campaign and actively polices its rights in order to protect itself and its consumers.... Certain images used on your website (www.ibuzz.co.uk) may have been copied or substantially copied from those in which our client own the copyright, without our client's consent... Your use of such images amounts to copyright infringement."

Oh, boo hoo, Apple.
