How does ScribeFire work?

ScribeFire, an extension of Firefox ®, enables users to easily drag and drop formatted text from the Web into their blog(s), post entries, take notes, and optimize their ad inventory, directly through the Firefox browser.

Getting started with the ScribeFire Blog Editor

(If you haven't already installed ScribeFire, read these installation instructions.)

Once ScribeFire is installed you will be able to quickly and easily update your blog. Start by opening the Scribefire window in your browser

Click on the icon in the status bar:

When ScribeFire opens, an account wizard will appear to help you connect to your blog. Here is a list of the blogging services that are compatible with ScribeFire). Fill in the required information and submit. Your blog will immediately be listed in the right-hand pane of your browser:

With ScribeFire it’s easy to post to your blog, just enter text in the main editor panel of ScribeFire, give it a title...

...and click the Publish button:

That's all there is to it! ScribeFire posts the entry to your blog immediately. Your blog title will also appear in the right sidebar enabling you to go back and edit or delete your post.

Retro Cell Phone Handset - Geek Cool 4 Sure

I gotta say I love this thing on a bunch of different levels. First and foremost it is absolutely ridiculous looking but in a way that will just stress other people out.

I am a bluetooth Geek and have experienced the disapproving stares of people who feel bluetooth is somehow "rude" technology.
I actually had someone come up and ask me if I thought I was "so important that I had to be on the phone every second!" I took off my stereo headset so that she could hear the music streaming from my pocket and told her to mind her own business. I know I shouldn't talk to my Mom that way, but Damn!

Anyway I also love this thing because one of the coolest retro DJ headphone set-ups has always been a stolen used handset from a pay phone wired to a 1/4" plug. One of the things that made this rig cool was the skill we had all developed (before phones became so damn tiny) was the shoulder hold. Anyway this set-up comes with a cell standard 2.5mm plug and adaptors for several popular phones. Radio shack sells 2.5mm-1/4" adaptors so I am buying one for my DJ set-up.

Another Cool Series

One of My favorite series is of course the halo based Red vs. Blue series, from Rooster teeth. Another, comes from the great people over at STICKPAGE.COM Now as with all the videos, they are somewhat... Strange, i guess is the best word. However here is the first, VERY well made short from the "madness combat" series which has 7 movies, as well as one interactive movie. Not to mention, the music is great. Hope you all enjoy this.


And of course, if you are a fan of the xbox hit Halo, and have not watched an episode of Red vs. Blue, ill include a video of the best from season 4. I think that some people may go MIA for a day just watching these great movies.... ENJOY!!
